Liz moved from the Dominican Republic to the United States with her mother at the age of six. She is fluent in Spanish and is even exchanges services with her art teacher; she teaches him Spanish and he mentors her through art. She has faced many struggles throughout her young life, yet remains positive and expresses herself through her art. Her accomplishments are impressive and plentiful, as you can see in her resume, the amount of unique opportunities she has been granted due to her innovation, creativity and hard work. I wish all of my students were as motivated and curious as she is.
