Fiercely motivated to succeed; Kenisha has challenged herself throughout high school, maintaining excellent grades in difficult courses, and involving herself in many different extracurricular activities. This past summer, Kenisha was selected to participate in the Building STEPS Program of Science and Technology, which is a competitive educational and professional development program. She was placed at Irvine Nature Center where she worked part time, and this past summer, she enrolled and completed a course through the BCCC Early Enrollment Program. Destine to succeed, Kenisha has been accepted into Coppin, Morgan and Frostburg State University as well as McDaniel College and Stevenson University, where she received over $60,000 in scholarship awards. Kenisha plans to attend Stevenson University and major in Biology and Psychology.
