Growing up in Maryland and Alabama, Zyrashae has always believed that education can affect people’s perspectives and opportunities. It can improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and generations. She works to help Baltimore’s youth reach their dreams of getting a college education in her position as a College Access Program Specialist. She engages with students daily to promote college aspiration and assist them in applying to colleges and financing their educations. Zyrashae holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Morgan State University, as well as a Master of Science in educational studies and certificate in urban education from The Johns Hopkins University. In 2017, Zyrashae was inducted into the Johns Hopkins University School of Education’s Society of Excellence for her commitment to education.
