Trevor Walker is proud to be a part of the CollegeBound Foundation family and excited to spread his experiences and love to the youth of Baltimore City. After receiving a full scholarship, Trevor attended Towson University, where he excelled as a student athlete. There he earned a dual bachelors degree in Business Administration and Economics, while also playing for the Towson Tigers football team (2008-2012). He and his team were successful in earning two Conference Championships during his tenure. After graduating, Trevor decided to put his degrees into action and began a career as a Senior Loan Counselor at First Financial Federal Credit Union. Although finance was intriguing, Trevor’s strong passion for the game of football continued to shine through. Trevor was the Assistant Defensive Coordinator and Line Backers coach for Coppin State University and is thrilled to say that he now holds the same positon at Reginald Lewis High school, where he has found his true calling of mentorship. This led Trevor to make a total career change, leaving behind the credit union and entering Baltimore City Public Schools to work with middle school students. It was here that Trevor decided is life long career belonged in dedicated work with children, guiding and mentoring them to be the best version of themselves.
Through coaching and teaching, Trevor has gained a greater passion for impacting lives of young men and women. He strongly desires to help the youth of Baltimore City to further their education beyond high school. Trevor is grateful for this new opportunity with CollegeBound and looks forward to building on the foundations of great work- leading students to and through college to career.
